So, like, I have no excuse for how stinking long it's been since I've posted (aside from I've had like near nonexistent drawing inspiration until recently and time.  No.  F'ing.  Time).  Last year (2016) was especially tough for a variety of reasons and I was more stressed than anything; but my son is healthy and happy and that's all a mother can ask for.  I hope to post - at least a few times a year - more frequently from here on out.  I also hope that 2017 is a little bit easier.

Even though I am no longer getting overtime, I still have zero time to draw . . . or write . . . or ANYTHING for that matter (which sucks cuz I'm hand-making all Christmas presents this year!) My son is going through an "I don't want to sleep" phase.   He is also going through a "I will climb on anything and smile at you crazily while doing it even while you tell me to 'GET DOWN'" phase.

I love this little guy.   I dunno how, even the dangerous stuff he does makes me love him more.  I am BESOTTED.

I dunno what I'm going to do when he starts toddler school in two months!

Also, I am busy looking for a house.  I probably won't be buying for several months, but my limitations in finances as well as my determination not to end up in a flood zone means it will probably TAKE several months to find something I can work with.

Kysra - the eternally beleaguered.

After searching hi and lo (apparently no lo enough!) for over a year <----!!!!!!!!!!!  I FINALLY found my light table.  IT WAS UNDER THE SPARE BEDROOM BED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*curses up a storm*

My baby turned 1 this week.  I cannot even begin to fathom how the hell that happened or where the hell I was that he's gotten so big, so smart, so wonderfully adorable.  

So, I'm feeling a bit nostalgic.  And wanted to know what you think I should work on (granted I haven't drawn anything even remotely post worthy since I got PREGNANT).  I'm thinking some It Only Takes a Moment illos.  I haven't worked on THOSE in like forever and a few more chapters have been written since the last one I posted.

What to you folks think?

Point up --> this is what I think usually XD  I've been off all this week as my parents are on a cruise and I'm taking care of Declan.  He's an angel who wakes up EVERY SINGLE MORNING at 6:00am.  T_T  My days of sleepingin are OVER.  But it's okay.  I love being with him . . . even if he's teething and I have to change his bibs every hour because they get soaked through XD

Can you tell I'm tired?

I tried cleaning the house yesterday but I only got as far as one bathroom because Declan has reached a stage of separation anxiety so couldn't get through any more than that.  

And - BIG NEWS- Tuesday he looked me straight in the eye and said "Ma Ma"  XD  He now screams it if I walk away or if I'm out of his sight for more than a few seconds.

I LOVE MY BABY.
