Lady Marthea and Sir Sefton

A sketch based off of and inspired by J. W. Waterhouse's painting "La Belle Dame Sans Merci". This is also an illustration for a Yu Gi Oh fanfiction I'm working on based on a 12th century English court case concerning a young woman kept prisoner by her illegal husband for three years.

This has been languishing in scraps forever, waiting to be colored. Since I haven't gotten to it in a year, I'm upgrading this to a deviation.

The inked version will be upgraded as well.
